The model in question has been known to lose an engine and land safely, as well as losing both engines and still land with no fatalities.

Boeing shares rebounded on Thursday over 1 percent after the Pentagon said the downing of a Ukrainian airliner in Tehran earlier this week was likely due to a surface-to-air missile fired by Iran.

The stock was the top performer midday in the Dow Jones Industrial Average,helping the index move closer to another key milestone, 29,000.

  1. Theres no doubt for sure. If I was UKRAINE Id retaliate. BUT perhaps they cant. This is sickening! Id say NO IRANIAN AIRPORT DARES FLY ANOTHER PLANE! Till investigation is over. Any dumb ass AMERICANS still IN Iran or IRAQ…. Gd luck!Someone has to stop this!
