The Reason Is: To Glorify Christ Jesus

“He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:14

The Holy Ghost Himself cannot better glorify the Lord Jesus than by showing to us Christ’s own things. Jesus is His own best commendation. There is no adorning Him except with His own gold.

The Comforter shows us that which He has received of our Lord Jesus. We never see anything aright till He reveals it. He has a way of opening our minds, and of opening the Scriptures, and by this double process He sets forth our Lord to us. There is much art in setting forth a matter, and that art belongs in the highest degree to the Spirit of truth. He shows us the things themselves. This is a great privilege, as those know who have enjoyed the hallowed vision.

Let us seek the illumination of the Spirit; not…

VIDEO The Key to the Missionary’s Devotion – Why I’m a Missionary

The Key to the Missionary’s Devotion

Our Lord told us how our love for Him is to exhibit itself when He asked, “Do you love Me?” (John 21:17). And then He said, “Feed My sheep.” In effect, He said, “Identify yourself with My interests in other people,” not, “Identify Me with your interests in other people.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 shows us the characteristics of this love— it is actually the love of God expressing itself. The true test of my love for Jesus is a very practical one, and all the rest is sentimental talk.

Faithfulness to Jesus Christ is the supernatural work of redemption that has been performed in me by the Holy Spirit— “the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit…” (Romans 5:5). And it is that love in me that effectively works…

What we’ve all been waiting for … impeachment

Cry and Howl

Well, it appears the Democrats along with the major media are in full-blown impeachment mode against President Trump. HERE is just a small example of how the media is distorting the transcript of President Trump’s phone call. I think the most stunning part of this whole circus is the glee within the Democrat Party and the media over the prospect that they just may have finally “gotten him” with this nonsense. The Democrats are so pumped-up they don’t care about retaining the House and are even willing to lose the 2020 Presidential election (to anyone but Trump) as long as they can successfully impeach President Trump. Rashida Tlaib is even selling “Impeach the MF” t-shirts in her joy of maybe finally getting Trump. Folks, these are some very sick people. I mean, what kind of person get joy from destroying other people’s lives and families? It’s no surprise though. Even…

The northern sunset.

Exploring the epiphany

The northern sunset…
Deserted seagulls
and your wet lingeries on inhibited winds.
To understand is to die in your warm eyes opening for the midnight sun…the little window is there in my mind like a darkened calling.
Openness of this horizon, an oozing cosmos…tunes like strings falling from the wandering senses,
look at me with those stopped ankles…
our home inside us is open for strangers and now I can’t find my frequency in this isolated land.
Salty metals and frozen neons and rhythmic gazes…wait for me to find a concrete of our own,
keep your hairs open when I get hungry and lost in my cravings.

Secret Survey: U.S. Shale In A State Of ‘Deep Anxiety’, by Nick

If shale oil production collapses, does that mean the US has to suck up to Saudi Arabia even more than it already does? From Nick Cunningham at

The financial stress sweeping over the U.S. shale sector has led to a sharp contraction in activity.

Oil and gas activity in Texas and parts of New Mexico declined in the third quarter, with the Dallas Fed’s business activity index reporting a reading of -7.4, down from -0.6 in the second quarter. A negative reading signals contraction while a positive reading indicates expansion. Falling deeper into negative territory indicates that shale drillers in the Permian further cut drilling activity over the last three months.

Artists and fashion designers are coming up with novel ways to stay private in public

LONDON, Sept 26 (Thomson Reuters Foundation) – As top designers wrapped up London Fashion Week and made their way to Paris to grab the world’s attention with their lavish creations, a group of artists in London were making their own fashion statement, in a bid to become invisible.

Emily Roderick, 23, and her cohorts in “The Dazzle Club” walked around the British capital last week with blue, red and black stripes painted across their faces in an effort to escape the watchful eye of facial-recognition cameras.

The artists took their silent stroll through the city’s King’s Cross area hoping their bold make-up would act as camouflage and confuse the cameras.
