Confirming long-running speculation that South Africa is on its way to becoming just another Zimbabwe, on Tuesday the country’s president Cyril Ramaphose said the ruling African National Congress should initiate a parliamentary process to amend the constitution to allow for the expropriation of land without compensation.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s economy has barely grown in recent years, with the growth outlook remaining much lower than the 5 percent annual growth government is aiming for to make a dent in near-record unemployment. Tuesday data showed that South Africa’s unemployment rate rose to 27.2% of the labor force in the second quarter from 26.7% in the first quarter.
In other words, South Africa is well on its way to converting itself into a banana republic; as such confiscating the land of the whites appears to be the logical next step.
Martha McSally’s appearance (illuminating video) on Fox Business‘ “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” clearly defines why she’s known as Sally McCain. Her lack of commitment to constructing the border wall she deceptively alludes to in her campaign ads is reminiscent of her mentor John McCain’s infamous stroll along Arizona’s southern border with then-Pinal County sheriff, deceptively promising to “Complete the danged fence’” Immediately after the ballots were counted, McCain, Jeff Flake, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin along with four other RINOs and liberals, joined together on the Gang of Eight, another of his career-long amnesty schemes.
Dobbs takes none of McSally’s glib double talk on the topic, as she repeatedly yammers about a “border wall system.” Dobbs swiftly clarifies that President Trump has promised a border wall — not a system — and pointedly tells McSally to stop speaking over him.
In an email sent to her supporters, Dr. Kelli Ward, who McSally is challenging for Arizona’s open Senate seat writes:
“Yesterday I met with the editorial board of the Arizona Republic with my opponent Martha McSally. Overall it was a very positive experience — I had the chance to spread our message of America First and discuss some of the most important issues of the campaign.
But McSally never ceases to floor me… our meeting confirmed she’s still totally out of touch with conservative voters. In discussing the construction of a much-needed wall along our southern border, McSally emphatically said, “I don’t know why you guys get so caught up on the word ‘wall’.”
No, I am not kidding… the woman is running for U.S. Senate in a border state and she doesn’t comprehend the overwhelming support for President Trump’s Wall. This is why I’m running. I’m in it to win and support the Wall for Arizona and the United States.
