Once a person ingests the iron-clad implications of America’s who/whom principles a great deal of socio-political clarity comes into their life. Dialectic necessarily loses its luster as you realize there are no neutral moral platforms upon which you can bring your opposition to stand. What is good, bad, evil, noble, effective or flatulent is entirely a function of the action’s subject and object. So why the hell waste a man’s precious bodily fluids in vain labor? Where factions can’t reconcile, they fight. And rhetoric is the warfare of words.
One instance where who/whom reliably flexes its physique is when it briskly truncates any rational extrapolation of liberal hot buttons. Of course few things are as hot as the climate, which killed us all 25 years ago. But before being boiled in carbon dioxide I remember a climate-related logical extrapolation that liberals severed faster than Lee Rigby’s head.
