Tai Chi (taiji) is an ancient martial art that is practiced for health, relaxation and self-defense. We will be studying the Traditional Yang Family Long Form which is characterized by a strong stance, wide circular arms and a gentle flowing movement. Included in our study will be the use of whole body movement, stance work, body structure alignment and breathing.
Classes will broken out into 7 week sessions. Training during each session will be built upon the previous weeks’ classes; so students are encouraged to attend during the entire session.
