I Care More Than You Care See My Ribbon

AMEN AMEN
——————

The commands of government are enforced through the power of the state. The state can take your money and do what they think is best. The perpetually re-elected tell us constantly that they will bring the bacon home. When I ran for public office my favorite thing to tell voters was that, “I’m not running to bring the bacon home I’m running to leave the hog with the farmer that raised it.” This was and is my belief of how it should be it was not however what you could call a winning slogan.

Looking again at commands we all know we must follow the commands of the government since they have an exclusive right to the use of force and they have shown over and over they are not slow to use it. However, as far as me and my house we will follow the Lord and he has given us the two most important commands of all, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

To my mind and my spirit that says it all. If we love our neighbor as we love ourselves we will show all the compassion needed and we won’t need any bureaucrat to command us to do so.

Dr. Robert Owens Chronicles the History of the Future

For over twenty years my wife and I were the pastors of churches and leaders of ministries.  Everywhere we ministered we founded programs to feed and clothe those who needed assistance.  These ministries through the work of volunteers and the donations of private citizens fed and clothed thousands all without ever taking a dime of government money.

Back in the dream time when I was young in the ministry I helped start a feeding ministry.  We fed so many needy people with groceries and had so many coming for hot meals it was astounding.  We did no means testing.  We fed everyone who came to the door all with volunteers and private donations.

Then came the Reagan food giveaway program and everything changed.  If you don’t remember this it was a program started in 1983 by the Reagan administration.  They opened the government warehouses and began giving away vast amounts…

STATE OFFICIALS MISTREAT GIRL, 5, RAPED BY MUSLIM MIGRANTS
EXCLUSIVE: PAMELA GELLER SAYS IDAHO FAMILY ‘HAS SUFFERED ALMOST EVERY KIND OF INJUSTICE’

WND, November 20, 2016:

Last summer, a 5-year-old girl was orally, anally and vaginally raped and urinated upon by three Muslim migrant boys in Twin Falls, Idaho. Since then, instead of getting justice, the victim’s family has been abused by law enforcement and governing authorities as if they were the criminals – because what happened to their little girl contradicts the politically correct narrative about Muslim migrants.

And it just keeps getting worse. The victim’s mother has now informed me that, despite the huge medical expenses for their daughter that this attack has necessitated, the state of…

The Phoenix Template, Part One, by Robert Gore

Most Americans don’t pay much attention to what the government does in foreign nations, and even less attention to what it has done in the past. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this focus on the here-and-now, but contemplation beyond the usual horizons is well-advised. Not for the usual high-minded reasons offered by multiculturalist do-gooders, but because what the government—and those who pull its strings—have done in foreign lands for the past seventy years is their template for what they plan here at home.

The group that led the US through World War II was determined to preserve, perpetuate, and extend its global dominance. With the establishment of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), centralized, coordinated intelligence had come into its own. After the war President Truman dissolved the OSS, but signed the National Security Act of 1947, which established the CIA. With a secret executive order in 1952, he also established the NSA. Although the agencies were sold to Truman as necessary instruments for gathering and analyzing foreign intelligence, rather than operational assignments, they soon were engaging in both domestic and foreign operations. In 1963, a month after President Kennedy’s assassination, former president Truman’s letter to the Washington Post deplored what the CIA had become.

For some time I have been disturbed by the way CIA has been diverted from its original assignment. It has become an operational and at times a policy-making arm of the Government. This has led to trouble and may have compounded our difficulties in several explosive areas.

Later, Truman told biographer Merle Miller that setting up the CIA was “a mistake.”
