Meanwhile, criminals have their “defensive tools” readily available for purchase!
Those that I know that marched with MLK no doubt are shaking their heads.
NOW blacks WANT segregation? From the scary white people who have done them so much harm – held them down. SMH
The University of Connecticut is building a special residence for those who identify as African-American males, as a way to boost retention and graduation rates. Critics of the plan are calling the arrangement “racially segregated housing.”
As part of its Learning Community Program, the university has established “houses” designed to match students with like-minded peers, in order to foster development and to “make UConn feel like home,” according to the school’s website. In addition to houses aimed at environmentally-conscious students or nursing majors, for example, a new house under construction will cater to African-American men only….

I am an #Infidel
“The Jihad would not be a significant threat without the collaboration of the left. Without the left standing in the way, it’s a problem that could be solved in a matter of years. With the aid of the left, it threatens human civilization with a dark age that will erase our culture, our future and our freedom.
We cannot defeat Islam without defeating the left. That is the lesson I learned on September 11. It is a lesson that appears truer every single year as the left finds new ways to endanger us all.”
Liking the ant analogy. I have often referred to myself as an “ant”. For me it is because of the ant having to rebuild his home over and over through no fault of his own other than making the rooftop visible to someone who wanted to mush it up.
As the leader of an ant colony trying to take down an elephant, bin Laden had to use his imagination. Like the ants, al Qaeda couldn’t attack frontally in force. To invade and subjugate the US would be virtually impossible; it could not be defeated on its own territory. He had to get his enemy to turn its power on itself. Ants would send small units to infiltrate the elephant and sting its most sensitive parts. For bin Laden, this meant a brazen attack on symbolically sensitive targets in New York and Washington. The goal of ants and al Qaeda was the same: inflame and enrage the enemy.
Deception can be an effective tactic: the Trojan horse; Roosevelt promising in the 1932 campaign to cut government spending and balance the budget; the Allies fooling the Germans about where the D-Day invasion would land. What is neither generally recognized nor recorded in the annals of history is a tactic that has achieved far greater victories, the most powerful tactic of them all: getting one’s enemies to fool themselves.
Governments and their people are natural enemies. The former are parasites; the latter are hosts. For governments to survive, they must trick their people into believing they are necessary and beneficial, not coercive and parasitic. The easiest way to do so is to convince them that their security is threatened and that only the government can protect them.

“One thing you get from Trump, ‘You get what you see’. Can you say that about Obama?”
GOTCHA! A gotcha question? No, but possibly made you Trump lovers and haters look!
We’ve seen/listened to seven Republican debates……..I, 6 and 1/10th. I am not sure how many Democratic debates there have even been. I can’t stomach Hillary Clinton, nor do I really care to listen to a socialist. It is what it is! For the sake of a number for this post/article (I’d really like to call it an article) lets go with three.
There isn’t a single candidate from either party that is as great as they paint themselves. With the exception of: LOL 🙂 Just having fun.
There isn’t a single candidate from either side that is as bad as the others say they are.
With the exception of: Not so funny. She isn’t jail bait, she is the catch.
I’m going to take a bit of a turn…

Seems the Virginia GOP would rather keep the state under control of the dems, also!
It has long since passed that this can be referred to as #obamacare — the responsibility falls on all those who failed to protect the citizens from this un-Constitutional tax.
“CBO anticipates that several developments in federal fiscal policy under current law will affect the economy through their impact on the labor market. The most sizable effects stem from provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA’s largest effect on the labor market—especially as overall employment conditions improve—will come from provisions of the act that raise effective marginal tax rates on earnings, thereby reducing how much some people choose to work. The health insurance subsidies that the act provides through the expansion of Medicaid and the exchanges are phased out for people with higher income, creating an implicit tax on some people’s additional earnings. The act also directly imposes higher taxes on some people’s labor income. Because both effects on labor supply will grow over the next few years, CBO projects, they will subtract from economic growth over that period.”
From John R. Graham at healthblog.ncpa.org:
The Congressional Budget Office’s latest budget estimate shows Obamacare’s costs per beneficiary have exploded, as enrollment in Obamacare’s broken exchanges collapses. January’s update estimates 2016 exchange enrollment at 13 million people (p. 69). Although the Administration had previously downgraded its estimate of Obamacare enrollment, this is the first significant change by the non-partisan CBO.
What is really shocking is the January update still estimates tax credits, which subsidize insurers participating in exchanges, will cost taxpayers $56 billion this year (p. 182). That amounts to about $4,308 per enrollee (although not all are subsidized). Back in March 2010, CBO estimated that 21 million people would be covered in exchanges in 2016, for a total cost of $59 billion in tax credits (pp. 20-23). That would amount to about $2,810 per enrollee.
As recently as March 2015, CBO was still assuming 21 million enrollees in Obamacare’s…

WOW — this “new” concept of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY!!
Charles Hugh Smith
January 29, 2016
Treatment of atomized individuals in a setting of atomized symptoms and treatments is by any measure the opposite of a system that encourages and enables everyone to be their own medicine.
I recently saw a slogan that encapsulated what’s wrong with the U.S. healthcare system: Be Your Own Medicine. To Be Your Own Medicine is the essence of prevention, and a way of taking full ownership of one’s health, body, mind, diet, fitness and daily habits.
Alas, being your own medicine strips the $3.5 trillion healthcare system of profit, power and control, so the last thing the healthcare cartels want is for us to be our own medicine, as that would reduce our reliance on highly profitable pharmaceuticals, tests, procedures and high-cost facilities.
Note the slogan isn’t “take your own medicine” or “make your own medicine”–it’s be your own medicine
